It has been announced that the anime movie Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love Kingdom will screen in Japanese cinemas in 2019. The Uta no Prince-sama franchise started as a series of romance games, with its first release in June 2010.

It has since received four anime adaptations and will soon be getting a theatrical movie. The title of the movie follows the theme of the TV anime series, which were titled Maji Love 1000% (2011), Maji Love 2000% (2013), Maji Love Revolution (2015) and Maji Love Legend Star (2016). The series is about the daily life of a group of young men with various personalities who are aiming to become idols. Elements Garden is in charge of the music. Maji Love Kingdom will be the first movie in the franchise and will feature a completely new story. Furthermore, it has been announced that the movie’s insert song performed by main idol unit ST☆RISH will be released as a single on 14 February 2018.
